Wipro Buys Yardley's Personal Care Business For $45.5 Mn

India's No.3 software services exporter - Wipro through its consumer care subsidiary - Wipro Consumer Care & Lighting has entered into an agreement with UK based Lornamead Group to buy some of its personal care business for $45.5 mn.

Lornamead owns the Yardley brand, for the businesses in Asia, the Middle East, Australasia and some African markets.

The transaction is expected to be completed by mid-December.
