To The New, a digital services network has acquired ThoughtBuzz, a social media analytics company in India and South-East Asia for undisclosed amount, Iamwire states. The acquisition will allow To The New to integrate social media analytics into its digital services portfolio and to strengthen its service offerings in the South East Asian.
This July, To The New acquired Techsailor, a Singapore based company to expand in south east to build an integrated digital service network in the region.
ThoughtBuzz is a social media intelligence company. The web based tool helps companies monitor and track online conversations. ThoughtBuzz offers a full-feature analytics service with unlimited access to billions of social media conversations, as well features such as automated sentiment and geo-demographics.
It provides social media intelligence services for Toyota, Air Asia, Raffles Hotels, 3M, Dr Batra, The Economist, Edelman, Mediacom, Mindshare and more across sectors like automobiles, FMCG, airlines, telecom, hospitality, consumer electronics, politics, entertainment and retail.
ThoughtBuzz offers analytical and segmentation capabilities to track public content on social media networks that help marketers make informed decisions based on customers’ perceptions about the brand and its competitors.
TO THE NEW was founded in June 2010 and offers expertise in digital and social media marketing, content creation for web and mobile, development of apps and solutions for web and mobile. It has a clientele base of 100 serving acroos various sectors like BFSI, Automobiles, e-commerce, FMCG, Retail, Sports, Hospitality and Media & Entertainment.
Earlier this year, it had announced the intent to invest $13 Mn in its Indian operations over the next three years and further committed to invest $10 Mn to grow its footprint in the South-East Asia region.

Suyog Telematics, a telecom infrastructure provider has filed DRHP on BSE SME to tap the public money to the tune of R4.26 Cr by issuing 17.04 lac shares at R25 each. The fund collected would be utilized for installation of 10 new roof top poles; installation of 100 new ground based poles; upgradation and replacement of existing towers and poles.
Sunnyvale, California-based Druva Inc., a cloud-first data protection solution provider, announced receiving $51 million in funding. This round of funding was led by existing investor Sequoia India, along with participation of new investors such as Blue Cloud Ventures, Hercules Capital, and Singapore-based EDBI. Existing investors like Japan’s NTT Finance (financial arm of Japanese telecommunications company Nippon Telegraph and Telephone Corporation), Nexus Venture Partners and Tenaya Capital also contributed to this round.
