Omidyar Network has invested in globally networked IT enabled services company iMerit Technologies Services.

Jayant Sinha of Omidyar Network will join the Board of Directors of iMerit Technologies.

iMerit is a globally networked outsourcing IT enabled service company which offers customers highly efficient and customized business process solutions to enhance their productivity and growth.

iMerit has built a strong portfolio of clients that includes leading organizations like Aptara and Catholic Relief Services, and has already created over 200 jobs that support more than 1000 individuals from low-income families and marginalized sections of society.

Omidyar Network recently made a $950,000 three-year grant to Akshara Foundation, a Bangalore-based public charitable trust focused on education and acquired an undisclosed equity stake in Delhi-based English language training solutions company EnglishHelper.

Vistaar Financial Services raised R40Cr in Series B round fromLok Capital, Omidyar Network and existing investors - Elevar Equity and SVB Capital Partners.
