Lumis Partners Owned TalentEdge Plans Acquisitions

TalentEdge (formerly known as karROX), is on course to take the inorganic route to expand its chain of learning centres.

The company plans to invest R40 Cr and BL states that in addition to increase its number on centres from 27 to 100 by next year, it is also making an acquisition in the learning space.

TalentEdge has trained over 300,000 students and professionals in 90 locations worldwide through its training centers in India, Africa, Middle East and South East Asia.

Being the training partners for IT brands like Microsoft and Oracle, the firm also has productive relationships with about 70 corporates which include names like Bank of America, Capgemini, Novartis and other alike.

Till now it has been working into two verticals of corporate and students and from here on plans to enter the third vertical of ‘Direct-to-Desktop’ solution in April this year.

In the space, Tree House Education & Accessories had entered into a term sheet agreement to acquire 100% equity of Brainworks Learning Systems Pvt. Ltd.

Listed firm Core Education & Technologies recently saw an abrupt stock price movement and Cresta Fund sold 13.75 lakh shares of the company last month.

Global education company Pearson acquired the remaining 20% stake in online education services firm – Tutorvista.
