Personal investment portal – InvestmentYogi has raised angel investment from Silicon Vally based angel investor Safa Rashtchy and others, nextbigwhat stated.
With this investment, Safa Rashtchy will be Chairman of the company’s board.
Founded in 2008 by Mamtha Banerjee, InvestmentYogi FinAdvisory Services is a personal finance portal that helps Indians manage their investments, taxes and finances by providing high quality content and tools including online financial planning, online tax preparation, e-filing of taxes, online budgeting and mutual fund research.
The portal also features a tax filing application called TaxYogi and also built a large library of 'How do I' queries that answer your questions related to financial planning.
Recently, Investopresto, the online financial investment and research platform, has raised an undisclosed amount of funds from angel investors based out of Singapore led by Crystal Horse Investments.
Earlier last year Valuefy Solutions was planning to raise $3-5 Mn Series A funds; FundsIndia.com raised R20 Cr in second round of investment from Foundation Capital and Inventus Capital.
In 2010, NetAmbit InfoSource & e-Services Pvt Ltd acquired personal finance portal Rupeetalk.com, which is backed by early stage investor Seedfund.
