Edelman India has acquired Cream Events Private Limited, an experiential events company working within the luxury and lifestyle sector across India.
The acquisition will enable Edelman to offer seamless integration across multiple channels for marketing and communications programmes.
Post acquisition, Cream Events will continue to trade and operate as an independent brand and separate legal entity.
Edelman India Private Limited is part of the global Edelman network with a team of 270 plus professionals across 12 offices and representations in India.
It offers Indian and global clients strategic communications and media relations support, as well as Digital Communications, Public Affairs, Health, Technology, CSR and Sustainability communications.
Edelman is positioning the acquisition as a boost to its 'public engagement' communications model, which centers on the development of creative content and media-agnostic ideas.
The firm will be able to engage stakeholders through multiple communications channels, including traditional media (print and broadcast), hybrid media (blogs and online publications), social media, owned media (websites) and experiential activities.
