Fine Dining Restaurant Chain - Olive Bar & Kitchen has raised funds from Aditya Birla PE’s Sunrise Fund, for a minority stake. The financial details were undisclosed.

The company is planning to expand the existing formats across geographies and recently launched two new formats i.e. gastro pub and bistros.

Recently, Aditya Birla PE invested R100Cr in Trimax IT Infrastructure and Services.

Established in 2000 by AD Singh, Olive Bar & Kitchen runs a chain of restaurants and owns Olive, Monkey Bar, LAP, Ai and Soul Fry brands. The company has restaurants in Delhi, Mumbai and Bangalore.

Chandir Gidwani, the promoter of Centrum Group, Manmohan Shetty of Adlabs Films and Walkwater Media are existing investors in Olive.

This move will allow the former to entice foreign investment of worth Rs 2,060 crore.
