Instamojo has raised an undisclosed amount of funds from DaveMcClure’s 500 Startups, according to Medianama.

In July, Angel Investors Rajan Anandan and Sunil Kalra invested in Instamojo, for further development of the portal.

Founded by Aditya Sengupta, Akash Gehani, Harshad Sharma and Sampad Swain, Instamojo is a tech startup which provides solution that lets you give away your stuff by sharing unique links.

It allows users to buy & sell digital files like reports, code, documents, photos, templates, tutorials, music, videos, and offer physical goods for free.

InstaMojo allows users to upload a digital file with a price and share the unique link. It allows them to accept payments from customers, charging a flat 10% fee on each transaction. The service is similar to international ventures such as Gumroad and e-junkie.

Founded in 2010 by Dave McClure, 500 Startups provides early-stage companies with up to $250K in funding, in startup accelerator program, and unique events like SmashSummit, UnSexy, and GeeksOnaPlane

As of September 2012, 500 Startups had invested in over 300 companies, including Markerly, myGengo, Artsicle, Visual.ly, E la Carte, and Udemy. Of current investments, more than 20% have participated in other incubators, 10-15% are international, and 10 have been acquired.

500 Startups, had also made more than 10 investments in Indian companies, including Teliport.me, MyGola,InMobi and CucumberTown.
