Waste water treatment company - Concord Enviro Systems Private Limited is planning to raise $100Mn by divesting stake in the company.
Singhi Advisors is the financial advisor to the deal.
According to ET, Sage Capital is also planning to sell a small portion of its holding. Sage Capital invested R42Cr for 26% stake in Concord Enviro in 2009.
Founded in 2009, Concord Enviro operates as a subsidiary of Rochem Separation Systems India Pvt. Ltd.
Rochem Separation manufactures and installs waste water treatment and reuse systems. The company offers on-board and off shore desalination solutions.
Concord Enviro is engaged in development, manufacturing and installation of waste water treatment and reuse systems. It serve sectors like distilleries, textiles, tanning, pharmaceuticals and chemicals.
In this space, last Sept Voltas was planning to acquire Wipro's water treatment and purification business.
Other major players in the water treatment business include - VATech, Ion Exchange, Thermax, Hindustan Dorr-Oliver and Driplex.
Techpro systems has also entered water treatment business by acquiring 100% stake in Chennai-based Ambika Projects (India) Pvt Ltd for R10.30Cr.
