Myshaadi.in, a wedding planning portal has raised first round of funding from Indian Angel Network. The investors include Rajan Anandnan, Sunil Kalra, Ashim Mehra and Rehan Yar Khan.
Rehan Yar Khan has joined the board of Shaadi.in. The funds will be used to strengthen operations and further innovate it's suite of services.
MyShaadi.in was launched in 2011 by Abhishek Jain. The portal enables couples to plan wedding events, share invitations, share photographs along with features like budget calculator, shopping list, to do list, etc. The website has so far served more than 13,000 couples and aims to have over 1 lakh couples by this year end.
The website also boasts of an interactive blogging section which is contributed by the industry experts that illuminates couples on latest trends and international concepts of wedding.
Goa based Vedanta Limited, is going to acquire up to 5.33% stake in oil and gas exploration company Cairn India for over R2,200 Cr . It will acquire 100 Mn shares from Twin Star Mauritius Holdings on June 3, 2015 or within a period of 90 days at R220.40 per share.
