Inseive has raised angel funding led by Ojas Ventures and Blume Ventures.

Post funding, Gautam Balijepalli and Rajesh Srivathsa will join the Insieve board and Karthik Reddy of Blume Ventures will serve an observer.

Insieve, the company behind Dhiti product is a sharing network that learns what you share (within your network) and recommends content based on one’s reading behavior (as well as from the network).

This year in January, Ojas Venture invested in Venturenet Partners, promoters of internet radio service – Radiowalla.in.

Ojas is a $35 Mn India focussed early stage VC firm focused on technology companies and typically makes first round investments in the range of $250,000 to $1.5 Mn. It then participates in subsequent rounds up to a maximum of $3 Mn per company over the life of the company.

Its portfolio companies include, mobile financial services firm - Tyfone, mobile answer engine firm - Ziva, campus recruitment portal - CoCubes.com, mobile solutions company - TeliBrahma and in Arigami Semiconductor Systems.

Blume is an angel and seed venture fund that backs startups with both funding as well as active mentoring and support. It provides seed funding in the range of $50K - $250K to early-stage tech-focused/tech-enabled ventures.It has recently invested R2.5Cr in Bangalore based cloud telephony startup – Exotel along with Mumbai Angels.

Its other investment includes EKI Communications Pvt Ltd, Adepto Solutions Pvt Ltd, RupeeStreet Financial Services Pvt Ltd and Sparsha Learning Technologies among others. It has also invested in Faridabad-based cloud computing firm, E2E Networks Pvt Ltd.
