Suraj Diamonds and Jewellery Ltd raised R200Cr by alloting shares to four FIIs.
It alloted 10.18Mn shares to Passage to India Master Fund Ltd, 9.82Mn shares to Sparrow Asia Diversified Opportunities Fund, 8.55Mn shares to Davos International Fund and 7.82 shares to Leman Diversified Fund.
Suraj Diamonds is the flagship company of the Su-Raj group, which processes diamonds and manufactures gold jewellery. Suraj's jewellery manufacturing units are in Bengaluru, Mumbai, Kochi, Goa, and Kolkata. It has around 2,400 employees in its five factories.
The group’s jewellery business was set up in 2001 and has gradually grown with the opening of sales offices in major international centres such as New York, Antwerp, Bangkok, Hong Kong, and the United Arab Emirates. The company also started bullion trading in December 2009.

Forever Precious manufactures fine jewellery, timepieces, metal ware, and accessories. It has wholesale centres in Delhi, Gujarat, Maharashtra, Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, and Tamil Nadu.
