Prism Informatics To Raise Funds For Expansion
Mumbai-based Prism Informatics is planning to raise funds by issue of of 11% 1301050 Non Cumulative Compulsorily convertible Debentures.
Last Sept, Prism Informatics bought 18% stake in the U.S.-based information technology consulting company Idhasoft Ltd for an undisclosed sum.
Prism is a software development and IT business consulting services provider. It caters to the enterprise customers through its range of services from software application development and strategic IT consulting, implementation and support of third party enterprise-wide products, including Oracle, SAP, Cognos, TIBCO, and Sybase.
Acquisitions are a major part of Prism's growth strategy.
Last March, it acquired 100% stake in Germany-based GOD Barcode Marketing mbH (GODBM), in a move to strengthen its presence in the logistics and supply chain domains.

Prism had earlier acquired Nastek Solutions, Nexus System Resources, SUMITS, Finasys , Information Management Technologies (IMT) and TLC Technologies Inc.
Qasem Al Suwaidi, the Chairman and Group CEO of Al Suwaidi Group of Companies acquired 6.7% stake in Prism Informatics in Dec 2010.
