MyDala.Com Raises Rs18Cr From InfoEdge In Second Round
Group buying site - MyDala.com has raised Rs18Cr from InfoEdge India in it's secind round of funding. Earlier in April'11, InfoEdge had invested Rs 9Cr in the company.
MyDala.com is operated by Kinobeo Software Private Limited, which was launched in November 2009 by Anisha Singh and Arjun Basu.
Last year, MyDala.com raised Rs.1.1 Cr in angel funding from Ajay Relan and Jayanta Basu, besides two unnamed US investors. Relan and Basu, the founding partners of Delhi-based PE firm CX Partners, invested in MyDala in their personal capacity.
Some of the deals on the website include recreation, restaurant, health and beauty services.
Other group buying sites like Snapdeal.com and Taggle have also raised funding in last one year.

Earlier in the month, InfoEdge also made a follow on investment of Rs20Cr in Applect Learning Systems. It had earlier invested Rs 6.5Cr in the company. Recently, Infoedge also announced a Rs13.5Cr investment in restaurant directory portal:Zomato
