Sparsha Learning Technologies has raised angel funding from Blume Ventures and Tempus Capital.

Sparsha Learning Technologies is an e-learning based technology startup founded by Debabrata Bagchi(IIT Kharagpur) and Kapil Kaushik(IIT Delhi).

It is headquartered at IIT Kharagpur Science Technology Entrepreneur Park (STEP) and has an extended R&D center at PESIT CORI (Crucible of Research and Innovation), Bangalore.

Sparsha’s flagship product, iLearnMore, is a learning and assessment platform which uses technology and simulation to enhance learning, increase retention among students, push teaching efficacy and impart remedial learning in a classroom environment using active learning methodologies.

Sparsha creates activity based learning courseware using simulations and delivers that directly to learners. Sparsha has a subscription based model in a "per course, per student" basis. It sells this directly to engineering colleges, degree/science colleges/polytechnics through its own team or through its partners.

A number of educational starups have raised funding in 2011. A few days back, Applect Learning Systems (again an IIT startup) raised Rs20Cr from Infoedge(). Another IIT startup - InOpen Technologies raised $500,000 from Ventureast TeNet Fund II.
