Druva Software To Raise $10 Mn From Nexus Venture
Pune-based Druva Software Private Limited is raising $10 Mn in second round of funding from Nexus Venture Partners.
The funds raised will be used in expanding operations in the global markets and for R&D.
Last year in March, Druva raised $5 Mn in Series A funding from Sequoia Capital and Indian Angel Network.

Founded in 2006 by Jaspreet Singh, Ramani Kothandaraman and Milind Borate, Druva Software offers data protection and disaster recovery products. It currently offers two products - Druva inSync, used as an enterprise laptop backup solution, and Druva Phoenix, used as a server back-up.
Druva inSync is currently protecting over 300,000 devices globally. inSync customers include NASA, Xerox, Siemens, Schlumberger, PWC among others. Druva Phoenix is a new product and focuses on small-mid servers in remote/branch offices.
Nexus Venture Capital is a VC fund with $320 Mn under management. The funds investment size ranges up to $10 Mn in early / early-growth stage companies.
Recently the fund made investments in Snapdeal.com, Bigshoebazaaar, Jaldhara Technologies. Its other investment portfolio companies include Komli Media, Sohan Lal Commodity, among others.
