Former M&A Head at Credit Suisse Group AG in India, Sughosh Moharikar is joining Deutsche Bank AG (DBK) in the same role.
He will replace Amrit Singh, who is moving to London by the end of 2011 after more than three years in India.
Sughosh joined Credit Suisse in 2008 along with Samita Shah, former MD, Lehman Brothers. Samita Shah was appointed by Credit Suisse as MD of its I-Banking division.
Prior joining Credit Suisse, Moharikar was with Kotak Mahindra Capital, where he worked for 14 years and was ED and head of M&A.
In the I-banking space, recently Standard Chartered appointed Sandeep Das as head of its private banking business in India and Saurabh Agrawal, former MD and Head of I-Banking of DSP Merrill Lynch, joined as head of its investment banking division for south and south-east Asia.
Rothschild's Rakesh Singh joined
HDFC Bank as head its investment banking division.
