Vayavya Labs Gets Funding From Indian Angel Network
Vayavya Labs Private Limited, a Belgaum-based embedded software tool developer, has raised $1 M in first round of funding from Indian Angel Network (IAN).
The funds raised will help Vayavya expand its toolset suite for electronic systems level design, and strengthen its sales and marketing effort.
With this deal, Sharad Sharma and Vivek Raghavan, members of IAN have joined Vayavya’s board.

Vayavy was co-promoted in 2006 by a team of four engineers - RK Patil (CEO), Venugopal Kolathur (CTO), Uma Bondada (VP Engineering) and Parag Naik.
Its provides services in integration services, design services and solutions in the Digital TV, IPTV and set-top box domains.
Vayavya Labs' software facilities in Belgaum and Bangalore has around 70 professionals. Some of its clients include Trident, Synopsys, NDS and Electra Plc.
IAN is a national network of business angels investing in start-ups, early stage ventures and has an investor base of over 170 angels.
This is IAN's 25th investment. Recently, IAN invested in real estate group buying portal GrOffr.com.
IAN's other investment includes Jigsee Inc, Span Across IT Solutions Pvt Ltd (TaxSpanner.com), Karmic Labs, Digilogue Communications, Kwench Library Solutions, Druvaa Software, Robhatah Robotic Solutions, Vienova Technology, AuthorGen Technologies, among others.
