Goldman Sachs Appoints Citigroup's Keshav Sanghi To Head India Equities
Goldman Sachs has appointed Citigroup's Keshav Sanghi as MD and head of equities in India.
Goldman recently hired PV Krishna from Morgan Stanley to be MD and head of capital markets in India.
At Citigroup, Sanghi was head of Indian equities. He had joined Citi in January 2010 as head of sales and deputy head of equities for the Indian business.
Prior Citigroup, he was the CEO of Reliance Equities and prior to that headed Indian equities at Deutsche Bank for five years.
Sanghi holds a degree in Finance from the University of Texas at Austin, USA.
Last month, Goldman Sachs' Gautam Trivedi joined Religare Capital Markets Ltd (RCML) as MD and head of institutional equities, India. Last year, former Goldman Sachs Managing Director Heramb Hajarnavis has joined KKR India Advisors as Director.
