Sabre Partners has invested Rs.50 Cr for a 4% stake in 
Super Religare Laboratories Limited through its Spring Healthcare Fund.
This is the second pre-ipo placement by SRL. Earlier in April, Avigo Capital Partners invested Rs 100 Cr for a 9.27% stake in SRL. The investment was done at Rs.188 per share.
SRL has filed a DRHP for a public issue of 28 Mn shares (Read here) including pre-IPO placement of Rs.160 Cr of 8 Mn equity shares.

SRL provides diagnostic testing services (routine, specialized and esoteric tests), preventive care testing services and clinical research trial testing services.
Recently Fortis Healthcare also received its board approval to acquire 86% promoters stake in SRL.
Founded in 2003 by Rajiv Maliwal, Sabre has invested over $350 Mn in India. Sabre also has an Infrastructure fund and a Venture Capital fund in addition to the Spring Healthcare fund.
Spring Healthcare invests into healthcare services businesses. It looks to invest in hospitals, diagnostic chains, medical equipment,clinical research, alternative medicine and other healthcare service providers.
Apart from this investment in SRL, it had earlier invested into Oyster & Pearl Hospitals, a Pune based woman and child care hospital.
