UK-based Interserve Holdings Ltd has acquired 49% stake in Hyderabad-based SSPDL Ltd's subisidiary, 
SSPDL Interserve Pvt Ltd for Rs.34.3 Cr to form a joint venture (JV). The deal values SSPDL Interserve at Rs.70 Cr.
The joint venture will undertake construction and infrastructure projects and will handle projects like the Lakewood Enclave and Crescent projects in Chennai and The Retreat in Bangalore.

Interserve Holdings is the investment arm of Interserve Plc, a £1.9 billion company with a global presence and a workforce of 50,000. It offers consulting, design, construction and facilities management services for infrastructure and also provides a range of plant and equipment in specialist fields and is a listed entity on the London Stock Exchange.
SSPDL Ltd (formerly Srinivasa Shipping and Property Development Limited) has a major presence in real estate development, construction and infrastructure.
SSPDL Interserve is at present looking at construction contracts in a range of real estate projects, including those by SSPDL. It has operations in Bangalore, Hyderabad, Chennai and Tuticorin.
It is also planning to enter into the infrastructure space. SSPDL will exclusively give its construction contracts to the subsidiary.
Realty firm Rodium Realty is looking for a strategic investor to fund its over Rs.200 crore projects under progress and will dilute around 5-7 % of equity.
