Pudumjee Pulp & Paper To Acquire Global Boards
Pudumjee Pulp & Paper Mills has announced to acquire Global Boards Ltd.
It will acquire complete plant and machinery, land, buildings and other fixed assets lying at Mahad, Raigad (Maharashtra) of Global Boards.

Pudumjee Pulp & Paper Mills is engaged in the manufacture and sale of specialty papers. Its product range include greaseproof and glassine papers for packaging; coated art and chromo paper; super calandered paper, etc.
Incorporated in 1992, Global Boards Ltd. is a manufacturer of white top kraft liner, variety of art boards and cast coated board that caters to the packaging industry.
For 2008-09 Global Boards reported a turnover of Rs.5.38 Cr against Rs.13.5 Cr in 200708 with a Loss of Rs.22 Cr in 2008-09 against Rs.24 Cr in 2007-08.
Its shares are delisted from the BSE due arrears of payment of listing fee for the years 2008-2009 and 2009-10 due its tight liquidity position.
