REI Six Ten Retail To Raise $200 Mn
REI Six Ten Retail is raising $200 mn through various routes in one or many tranches.
The funds raised will be used for its expansion plans.
REI Six Ten Retail Ltd (REI Six Ten) involved in the retail business of grocery items, FMCG products, fruit & vegetables was formed by the demerger of 
REI Agro Ltd’s retail division.

REI Agro Ltd which is involved in processing and marketing of Basmati rice started its retail division in 2006-07 to enable the company to tap its existing wide network with farmers and state mandis. Subsequently, it demerged its retail business into a separate entity 'REI Six Ten Retail Ltd' to focus on its core business.
As on Mar 31, 2009 the company operated through a total of 380 outlets across the country located in Delhi, NCR, Punjab, Jaipur,Mumbai, Kolkata, Nagpur, Ahmedabad and Vadodara.
Its products are packed in Real Magic, Mr Miller and 6Ten brands.
REI SIx reported a revenue of Rs.149.64 Cr for Q1 FY2011 with net profit of Rs.4.99 Cr.
In this space, some companies like Rasoya Proteins is looking to raise $50 Mn, Tara Health Foods has filed DRHP to raise up to $42mn (Rs.190 Cr) and Sanwaria Agro is planning to raise Rs.200 Cr via QIP.
