Distil Information Plans To Raise First Round Of Funding
Distil Information Systems is planning to raise $5 Mn (approximately Rs.24 Cr) in the coming months to fund its expansion plans.
It is planning to expand in the Asia-Pacific region, Europe and the US and its new product line for healthcare will be released in the latter half of next year.

Distil Information is a provider of decision-support systems (or collaborative business intelligence) to manufacturing and retail sectors. Currently it has seven clients like Creative Portico, ATME Consulting, etc.
It had received $1 Mn (Rs.4.7 Cr) angel funding from HNIs in the West Asia region last year.
Recently, it bagged the deal for implementing 'Distil for Malls' in the upcoming shopping malls from Prozone, a subsidiary of Provogue.
In the software space, Druva Software raised $5 Mn from Sequoia Capital and Indian Angels Network; Perfios Software Solutions Private Limited has raised $2mn from angel investors; IDG Ventures India has invested $3.2 Mn in Series A round of funding in iCreate Software Pvt Ltd; CircuitSutra Technologies has raised Rs90.0621 lakhs from SIDBI SAS; and others.
