People Infocom Private Limited, operator of Mauj Mobile, has acquired UK based Mobango Limited.
With this acquisition, Mauj will gain access to markets outside India.

The website raised $10 Mn from WestBridge Capital, Intel Capital and Sequoia Capital in 2006.
People Infocom also owns Shaadi.com, Fropper.com, Astrolife.com and Makaan.com.
Mobango Ltd , started in 2006, operates as a mobile community that also provide consumers with an online and mobile service platform that allows its users to publish, create, convert, store, share, download, and play various types of mobile content, including videos, photos, ring tones, applications, and games; and distributes mobile applications for brands, publishers, and developers.
In 2007, the company raised 2 Mn Euros from Doughty Hanson Technology Ventures.
In February, US based mobile messaging company, SinglePoint had acquired Indian mobile advertising firm, M2Junction.
