Nexus' Second Agro Investment - Commodity Warehousing Firm, Sohan Lal
Sohan Lal Commodity Management (SLCM) has raised Rs.10 Cr from Nexus Venture Partners.
SLCM will use the funds to expand its presence and warehousing capacity.
Sandeep Singhal of Nexus Venture Partners will join SLCM's board.
ICICI Bank was the sole advisor to this transaction.

Delhi based SLCM provides agri-commodity warehouse management and procurement solutions across 70 locations and 12 states in India.
SLCM works with agri-commodity companies like Cargill, AWB, Adani, Jindal, Ruchi Soya, Louis Dreyfus, Glencore as a service provider.
Nexus' earlier investment in agri business has been in Suminter India Organics in 2007.
Last year, Nexus Venture Partners had invested in Vdopia ($4 mn) and in Deccan Healthcare (Rs.15 Cr).
Warehousing firm National Collateral Management Services Ltd is raising $20.5 mn from IFC to construct warehouses all across the country.
Secunderabad based logistics and warehousing company - DRS Logistics is also looking to raise upto Rs 200 Cr from PE investors for its Rs 450 Cr warehousing expansion plan. The company is planning to float a SPV and could dilute upto 50% stake in it to raise the desired funds.
