Abhijit Sen moves to KKR from Citi
KKR (or may be Sanjay Nayar) has brought in Mr. Abhijit Sen from Citigroup as CFO. KKR plans to become a leading AMC in India with focus on PE & distressed debt apart from other areas.
KKR is headed by Mr Sanjay Nayar. Nayar had quit citi to join KKR in Nov'08 after having worked with US Bank for 23 yrs, as South Asia head.
Sen was most recently a CFO for Citi bank looking after bank’s finance functions including acquisitions, divestiture and other such strategic planning in India, Sri Lanka, and Bangladesh.
Sen, who will join KKR From APRIL 01,2010 will look after the finance, compliance and administration of the US-Headquatered alternative asset manager in India. He will also have the responsibilities with KKR’s finance function in Asia.
