ChrysCapital Exits Zydus Wellness
ChrysCapital sold 1.38% stake in Zydus Wellness Limited to HDFC Mutual Fund for Rs 17.7cr at Rs 330 per share through the open market .
Zydus Wellness Limited sells products under the brands "Sugar free Natura" , "Nutralite" and "EverYuth".
The company posted a net profit of Rs 24cr and a market cap of around $1400cr. Zydus Wellness’ brand Sugar Free over 80% share in the market.

Chryscapital had picked up the 1.98% stake in Zydus Wellness in February 2009 through open market transaction at Rs 70 per share. The investment was done through ' Dali Limited' The sale at Rs 330 per share would fetch 4.7x times returns to Chrys.
Interestingly, Zydus' stock had hit an all time low of Rs 50 one year ago and recorded an all time high of Rs 375 yesterday. This was when Chrys exited its investment in Zydus.
In November 2009, ChrysCapital exited from its investment in Shriram Transport Finance capital for $220mn.
The fund has investments in other companies in India like HCL Technologies, Cadila Healthcare, Infosys, etc.
