Aavishkaar Micro Invests In B2R Technologies
Aavishkaar Micro Capital Fund is investing an unspecified amount in 
B2R Technologies Pvt Ltd. B2R operates BPO delivery centers in rural areas to provide services to domestic and international clients.
The funds will be utilized to scale up the number of seats in the existing delivery centers and to open more delivery centers.
B2R Technologies – founded by Venky Iyer and Dhiraj Dolwani has delivery center is currently operational at Orakhan in village Simayal, near Mukteswar, Uttarakhand, and has 34 team members, all belonging to villages in the vicinity.
Other BPOs including Xchanging and Hinduja Global Solutions are operating in semi-urban places like Shimoga in Karnataka and Durgapur in West Bengal. HDFC Bank also has a delivery center in Tirupati while Tata Chemicals has back office operations in Barala In UP and Mithapur in Gujarat.
Aavishkaar Venture Management Services – founded by Vineet Rai operates two funds focused on investing in micro and small enterprises.
Aavishkaar Micro Venture Capital Fund invests in micro and small enterprises that have a rural and a social focus. The average ticket size of investment is $50,000 – 5,000,000.
Aavishkaar Goodwell India Microfinance Development Company Ltd is a $18 Mn fund, which invests in MFIs. The average investment size is $5,000,00 – 2,000,000.
