Credit Suisse Appoints Rahul Chawla To Head Global Markets Solutions Group
Credit Suisse has appointed Rahul Chawla to head its Global Markets Solutions Group for India.
Chawla will lead Credit Suisse's efforts to capitalise on growing opportunities in the Indian capital markets and to develop the momentum that it has demonstrated by working on a series of landmark transactions in 2009.
The position highlights the company's commitment to its growing capital markets franchise in one of the Asia's most important and active markets.
Chawla would work closely with Credit Suisse's coverage bankers in India and with regional product heads to originate equity and debt capital markets, equity derivatives and structured finance transactions, the statement added.
