Omaxe Ltd Prepays Rs 990 Mn Debt
New Delhi based - Omaxe Ltd has prepaid the balance amount of Rs 990 mn in full alongwith the interest due thereon, which was, otherwise, repayable on Dec. 4, 2010. The company had prepaid Rs 2.01 bn from time to time.
Omaxe had availed a term facility of Rs 3 bn from Indiabulls Financial Services on Dec. 4, 2007 for a period of three years.
Incorporated in 1989, Omaxe develops integrated townships, group housing, shopping malls, multiplexes, hotels, resorts, IT parks, biotech parks and SEZs.
The company in a short span of five years has completed and delivered 10 projects consisting of eight residential and two commercial projects covering approximately 5.13 mn sq. ft. area.
Omaxe Ltd reported net consolidated sales of Rs. 223.92 cr for the quarter ended September 30th 2009 as compared to Rs. 204.03 cr for the quarter ended September 30th 2008, registering a growth of 9.75%.
Net profit for the quarter stood at Rs. 22.51 cr as compared to Rs. 20.38 crore posted for the quarter ended September 30th 2008, registering a growth of 10.45%.
